Preamble

The purpose of this Charter, hereinafter the “Charter”, is to define the conditions of use, the rules of good conduct of the Gozem platform: the “Platform”.

It applies to all users of the Platform, including, but not limited to, drivers (Champions), customers, merchants, partners…

They constitute the “Community”.

This Charter is evolving and establishes the principles to be respected so that everyone can benefit from a pleasant experience on the Platform in respect and security, it also covers your exchanges with Gozem employees.

More than a simple code of good conduct, this Charter promotes the values of our company and non-compliance with one of its clauses may result in the revocation of your access to all or part of the Platform.

This Charter is visible on our application, our website and mentioned in our Terms and Conditions of Use.

The acceptance of our Terms and Conditions entails the express and unreserved acceptance of this Community Charter.

We spare no effort to satisfy you and are sensitive to yours.

The Charter is structured around three main principles: I: respect for people, II: safety, III: compliance with regulations.

I. 

RESPECT FOR PEOPLE

The purpose of this Charter is to promote respectful and civilized behavior among members of the Community.

Everyone’s efforts allow everyone to benefit from a positive experience on the Platform.

As such, we urge members of the Community to demonstrate:

Punctuality: Be on time at the start of your ride or when picking up your orders, this will allow the Champion to better serve other customers.

Courtesy: Be respectful of other members of the Community, and be friendly: a hello or a thank you is always appreciated.

Cleanliness: Keep the Champion’s vehicle clean after your ride, thus allowing him to keep his vehicle in good condition and to provide quality service to other passengers.

To these rules of propriety are opposed behaviors that we strongly condemn and which can, if proven, cause you to lose access to the Platform.

1. 

Discrimination

Any discrimination based on sex, race, color, ethnic or social origins, genetic characteristics, language, religion or beliefs, political opinions or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, social condition, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation, marital status, physical condition or any other reason prohibited by applicable law is forbidden.

2. 

Verbal and physical abuse

It is forbidden to threaten or use violence against any member of the Community.

We also prohibit any apology for violence. Advocating or endorsing violent crimes and events in which people have been targeted because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, religious affiliation, age, disability, illnes is prohibited.

3. 

Inappropriate behavior and sexual assault

Any offensive behavior with a sexual connotation or any other gender-based behavior that annoys or offends another member of the Community is prohibited.

Disparaging and embarrassing remarks with a sexual connotation, facial expressions or gestures, inappropriate touching, sexual assaults that are committed with violence, coercion, threat or surprise constitute offences.

Property damage

Respect and proper use of equipment are essential. Any deterioration of the material or any damage caused to a vehicle may be re-invoiced to you.

II. 

SAFETY

Our rules are as follows:

Your safety is our priority and we remain vigilant to keep it ensured.

1. 

Legal majority

To join the Community, you must be eighteen (18) or twenty-one (21) years old depending on where you use the Platform, you must also be able to enter into a contract.

2. 

Veracity and updating of the information provided

The knowledge of certain information by the members of the Community is a guarantee of security.

Service providers on the Platform undertake to maintain the information and authorizations that allowed them to access it.

For example, the identity of a Champion, the registration of his vehicle, the address or the company name of a service provider are elements that reassure users of the Platform because they have been subject of control.

This information must always be accurate.

3. 

Compliance with safety rules related to transport services

Champions are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in good working order, as such they must comply with industry safety and maintenance standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3.1. 

Safe and responsible driving

The Champion takes care of the safety of the passengers, his driving must be prudent and respectful of the rules of the road.

Passengers must behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the journey.

3.2. 

Wearing helmets and seat belts

Champions and passengers (including those seated in the rear of the vehicle) must fasten their seat belts throughout the journey.
